I built my career in Austin, Texas. I was a Referral Counselor at Austin Families, Inc.; Clinic Counselor at Women’s Counseling and Resource Center,  where I provided short-term counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse assessments and referrals for women.

I was a Group Counselor at  Alan Shiver’s Cancer Center where I facilitated an on-going group for patients and family members; Patient Counselor at Austin Diagnostic Clinic were I provided counseling and education regarding adjustment to chronic illness, including grief and loss issues. My work at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic also included facilitating an on-going  psychoeducational group for patients and family members coping with kidney disease. 

I worked as a psychotherapist at the Workers Assistance Program – Alliance where I provided brief therapy, assessment and referral for individuals, children, families, and couples.  I have also  provided on-site counseling, consultation, crisis intervention and training for agency’s contracting companies. I currently work in private practice where I am focused in couples and  individual counseling, and clinical supervision.
